Exactly one week ago today, young men and women all over the Chicagoland area were preparing to attend the most anticipated event of the Summer which was, the IV annual Agora Sneaker Ball brought to you by the organization Kicks 4 the City.
For those of you that aren’t familiar, Kicks 4 The City is a community service group focused on providing shoes for those in need. Since 2012 the organization has distributed over 80K pairs of shoes and has inspired people young and old to join in and give back to the community.
This year, the event was held at the historical Museum of Science and Industry. The private guest list included a mix of media, community leaders, and partners. During the night Justin Johnson, the organizations founder, gave a recap of the year’s success while also recognizing the hard work and dedication of a few of the organizations team members.
Perhaps, one of most highly anticipated aspects of the night is seeing how guest would pair their “after 5 attire” with the flyest kicks in their closet. Talk about a LOOK! Don’t worry, I made sure I captured some of my favorite looks of the night which you can find enclosed below.
